Alberta Wolf Hunt

Alberta, Canada

Alberta's wolf population is large enough that hunting it is predator management, and the Rivets treat it that way. Five days out of preset blinds in densely populated country, close enough for an ethical shot at an animal that will smell you first.

About the trip

Alberta's wolf population is large enough that hunting it is predator management, and the Rivets treat it that way.

Five days out of preset blind locations, chosen in densely populated country and set close enough for an ethical shot. A wolf will smell you long before it sees you, which is most of what makes this hard.

Lodging, home-cooked meals and Alberta licensing are included, and the outfitter handles the mandatory reporting of harvested wolves.

Deposits are non-refundable, the balance is due 1 February for spring hunts, and final payment is by bank wire only. Skinning and field dressing are included; butchering, packaging and transporting the meat are yours, and game meat cannot be shipped out.
