About The Trip

Idaho Guided Trophy Deer Hunt Packages

If you’ve grown tired of trying to draw in a trophy area, then this is the hunt for you.  No drawing. No lottery. No hassles. They do sell out, so book early! With your general deer tag, you can have your choice of either a mule deer or a whitetail deer.

It’s late season and the bucks are in the rut. Idaho deer hunts in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness offer incredible opportunities to get your trophy buck. The biggest deer are typically nocturnal, but during this fall hunt they abandon their usual patterns to spend most of the day scenting and tracking does.  They don’t spend much time in one place and with their constant movement, spotting and stalking becomes much easier.
