Idaho Fly-in, Fly-Out Guided Elk Hunt Package

Immerse yourself in the thrill of a guided Elk hunt, where the pursuit of trophy-sized bulls takes you to remote and breathtaking locations within the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. With allocated tags, you can rest assured that you'll have the opportunity to hunt the most impressive game. 

Moose Creek Outfitters experienced guides have an intimate knowledge of the land and the behavior of Elk, ensuring an optimal hunting experience. They’re one of the only places that allow rifle hunting in the rut! You have the opportunity to make this a combo hunt by adding additional tags such as deer, bear, and wolf. GUARANTEED ALLOCATED TAGS. The season begins in September and runs through mid-November. Accommodations: 

  • 8-day guided elk hunts with 6 full days hunting
    • 1x1 Guided Elk Hunt = $8,200
    • 2x1 Guided Elk Hunt = $6,900 (each)
    • Idaho non-resident Hunting License = $195.00
    • Idaho non-resident Elk Tag = $656.75
  • Available hunt dates:
    • Elk Rut Hunts
      • September 14–21 
      • September 24 – October 1
      • October 4–11
    • Late Season Elk Hunts
      • October 22-29
      • October 31 – November 7
  • Lodging including
  • Food and beverages included

The hunt area is remote and requires fly-in. After booking your hunt with Moose Creek Outfitters, you will need to contact Choice Aviation, the local aviation company in Hamilton, MT (406) 363-6471. Flight price is not included in the hunt with Moose Creek Outfitters. 

If you will be traveling by plane commercially, Missoula, MT airport is the closest airport. If needed, Moose Creek Outfitters is able to arrange a shuttle service from Missoula to Hamilton.
