Ten thousand acres of Western Kentucky row-crop farm and hardwood edge, managed year-round for whitetail. Food plots, farmland practices and mineral sites worked through the off season, so the deer are there when the season opens.
You will hunt from ground blinds, ladder stands, lock-on stands and shooting houses. Which weapon you carry depends on the week you book: velvet archery in early September, an early muzzleloader and bow combo in October, archery through the pre-rut, rifle across the rut, and muzzleloader again in late December.
The lodge is a remodelled farmhouse with a renovated kitchen, bathroom and common area, and it takes six hunters at a time. That cap is deliberate.
